Nathan Busch

Nathan has been with the organization since June 2016. Nathan is responsible for co-leading implementation of Nebraska’s state plan for improving the system of care for children’s mental health services in partnership with the Department of Health and Human Services, Division of Behavioral Health.

Nathan received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Utah and his Juris Doctorate from Creighton University.

Nathan worked in a private legal practice specializing in family law and guardian-ad-litem representation. Additionally, Nathan worked with Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services, Division of Children and Family Services for ten years, where he worked in the area of child protection and safety, specifically leading the Department’s development and implementation of the Bridge to Independence extension of foster care services program for older youth. Additionally, Nathan coordinated the implementation of Results Based Accountability (RBA) for the Division of Children and Family Services.

Nathan is married to Christi Busch and has two daughters and one son.
