Emily Arent
Emily Arent joined Nebraska Children in August 2020. As the Director of Community Investments, Emily serves as the WebGrants software administrator and leads a team of coordinators responsible for issuing downstream contracts, and providing technical assistance, billing, and accounting support to community partners.
Prior to working at Nebraska Children, Emily spent the previous 14 years in child welfare. She served free-for-adoption foster youth with the State of Nebraska Division of Children & Family Services, followed by case management intake, billing, accounting, and audit work with the non-profit organization PromiseShip.
Originally from Papillion, Emily resides in Omaha with her husband, son, two dogs, and cat.
