"In 2019, advocates and community partners from around the state of Louisiana came together to make young children a priority issue in the Governor’s race. Polling data showed it was a priority for voters, and both candidates were talking about it. As we enter 2022 — with 36 Governors up for election in November — we’ll learn how a diverse coalition united around making early childhood development a campaign issue."
