Rebecca Pearson
Rebecca Pearson and her husband own and operate BDP Communications, which owns the Lincoln, Nebraska-based, independent sports talk radio station 93.7 The Ticket. She is also the former CEO of Beatrice Bakery Company, a company that makes gourmet fruit cakes and dessert cakes distributed nationally and through e-commerce.
Rebecca earned a degree in Business Administration from George Washington University and an MBA from American University in Washington, DC. After a 24-year career at ExxonMobil Corporation, where she served as an executive managing businesses and brands, she retired to become president of WEConnect International, a nonprofit organization based in Washington, D.C. The organization drives money into the hands of women business owners by enabling them to compete in the global marketplace.
In her four decades of progressive roles, including marketing and management, she helped multiple divisions and companies grow their profitability. Her expertise includes marketing strategy, retail, branding, marketing, talent development, and continuous improvement.
Rebecca joins the Nebraska Children board in 2026.
