Ben Watson
Ben Watson is the Chief Executive Officer of The Chadron State College Foundation where he focuses on Alumni relationship development, communications, and fundraising. He was promoted to this role after spending two years as the Director of Major Gifts with the Foundation. The Chadron State Foundation is currently in the middle of a 5-7 year comprehensive campaign seeking to raise $35-40 million in support of capital building projects and scholarships at Chadron State College. His career began in financial technology at ITI in Lincoln where he held analyst and corporate education positions before taking an IT management job for a regional bank. He was promoted to Chief Information Officer as the bank doubled in asset size and he oversaw IT and operations for over 300 employees and 30 locations.
Watson received his BA from Chadron State College in Psychology with a Minor in Organizational Psychology and Office Management. He is currently working on his MBA through Chadron State College.
