Afterschool and Summer STEM Systems Building Institute

April 14-15, 2015
Embassy Suites Old Market, Omaha, Nebraska

Join us in America’s heartland for a two-day institute to share your own STEM experiences and learn about cutting-edge out-of-school time STEM System building work in states and cities (yes, including rural communities) from across the nation.

During this two-day institute, teams from states and cities will gain practical insights into the vital role that out-of-school time programs can play in building city and statewide STEM Ecosystems that provide more youth, especially youth from our most challenging educational environments, with more high quality, engaging STEM experiences. Your team will be able to participate in mini-plenaries focusing on some core partnerships driving out-of-school time systems building work – with businesses, universities and non-profit organizations – as well as focused workshops on emerging tools like Dimensions of Success and Click2SciencePD that can help you build quality out-of-school time STEM systems. We will also include a communications strand highlighting tools you can use to make the case for out-of-school time STEM in your state.

Registration is $100 per person.
Register individually or as a team (up to six people).
