Angela Dubuc, Early Literacy Education Specialist
Angela Dubuc joins Nebraska Children as an Early Literacy Education Specialist with 16 years of experience in public education from throughout the Omaha/ Metro area. Her roles have included work at the elementary level as a classroom teacher, Literacy Coach, Curriculum Specialist, and Building Administrator/ Teacher Leader. She has also worked on the collegiate level as a Faculty Instructor in the College of Education at the University of Nebraska at Omaha and as an Adjunct Instructor in Graduate Studies in Educational Leadership at Doane University. As a life-long learner, Angela earned her B.S. in Elementary Education and M.S. in Literacy with a Reading Specialist endorsement from the University of Nebraska at Omaha, as well as a M.Ed. in Educational Leadership from Doane University. She lives with her two daughters, who motivate her “why,” and spoiled cat, Tyrone.
Angela is passionate in her mission to foster a love of learning, inspire curiosity, and advocate for equitable access to diverse and inclusive learning environments for the success of ALL students. She is committed in her pursuit and vision for a more positive future through service to others.
