Youth Eviction Prevention Program (YEPP)
Are you an unconnected young adult age 18-24 in the Lincoln community who is:
-
living independently but your housing costs are more than 30% of their gross income?
-
at risk of homelessness because of a lack of financial resources/support to resolve a housing crisis
or prevent eviction proceedings? -
determined to support themselves and their families but are in need of some temporary support to
continue to live independently?
How can YEPP help?
Money from the YEPP Fund can provide immediate assistance with housing crises such as back rent, property damages assessed (at the discretion of a YEPP specialist), or paying for utilities (if payment is included in the lease and non-payment could potentially cause damaged to the relationship with the landlord or lead to threat of eviction).
