Lynette Stockman

Lynette was born in WaKeeney, Kansas, but was raised in Rexford, Kansas. She graduated from Golden Plains High School in 1990. She began her college while in high school through Colby Community College. She attended Cloud County Community College where she earned her Associates of Arts Degree. She then went on to Fort Hays State University, where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Science Education. Lynette has worn a variety of hats during her career. While being a young mother, she had a hand full of years running a childcare center in Norton, Kansas. She has taught in a variety of settings from Head Start, At-Risk, History, and various grade levels as well as some college classes. Lynette is married to Brien Stockman and they have 4 children and 4 grandchildren. She lives in Logan where she served on the school board for 12 years. She volunteered as the Director of the local childcare center for 5 years. Lynette currently serves on her church board and as an Auxiliary President.
