Kara Nickel joined the Communities for Kids (C4K) team in June 2022 as an Assistant Vice President and currently serves as the C4K Project Coordinator for the Knowledge Network for the Early Childhood Education Workforce. She holds a degree in Secondary Education. Prior to her work with C4K, Kara managed homes and compliance requirements in the affordable housing sector. Her goal is to stay connected to Nebraska communities and to provide meaningful service to children and families.
