Greg Ptacek is the President of Johnnie Byrd Brewing Company in Wayne, NE. Ptacek’s passion for rural Nebraska led to a successful career in rural economic development. He now promotes community development through founding Nebraska’s first benefit corporation brewery and distillery. Greg and his slightly blind wife Kelly have four children Alexis, Crispin, Liesel, and Gideon.  In his spare time, Greg enjoys escaping into fantasy novels because: who doesn't wish they could be a wizard?!
