Originally from Mexico, Alan is a Statewide Business Consultant at the Nebraska Business Development Center for the Small Business Development Center program. In this role, he assists business owners through all stages of the business development process, with focuses on business planning, loan packaging, marketing, operations management, financial planning, and general business practices. 

He currently serves the whole state of Nebraska. Alan is passionate in serving the community and building strong professional relationships with partners and business owners. 

Alan was previously a SourceLink Nebraska navigator, another NBDC program, where he assisted to connect small business owners and entrepreneurs to the resources they needed to start or grow their business. Other previous experience includes international sales, customer service, and marketing. Alan received a bachelor’s degree in international business from Nebraska Wesleyan University, and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
