X-WR-CALDESC:The Nebraska Early Childhood Coaching Guidebook: Competencies 
 for Professional Practice were developed through the Nebraska Early Childh
 ood Coach Development Team (as part of the Nebraska Early Childhood Coach 
 Collaboration Team) in 2019 as a way to outline a common set of principles
  or standards for coaching in early childhood education settings. They are
  based on an in-depth analysis of the skills and dispositions required for
  coaches to be effective in fostering growth and learning\, while promotin
 g quality outcomes for early childhood educators\, children and/or familie
 s. \n\nThese competencies can be a useful resource to support coaching wor
 k in the following ways:\n	•	To inform ongoing conversation on the role of c
 oaching in early childhood education professional development \n          
       and how to support coaching efforts in Nebraska\n	•	As a coach self-as
 sessment tool to review and strengthen skills and dispositions\n	•	As a guid
 e for selection of professionals interested in becoming coaches\n	•	As a too
 l for strengthening professional identity among early childhood educators 
 who are doing coaching \n\nJoin us for one of three opportunities\, where 
 the Nebraska Early Childhood Coaching Guidebook: Competencies for Professi
 onal Practice are introduced. Participants will learn about how the compet
 encies were developed\, receive a general overview of the competencies\, h
 ow they are to be used\, and what the next steps are for continued trainin
 g and professional development around the competencies. The Nebraska Early
  Childhood Coaching Guidebook: Competencies for Professional Practice will
  continue to be incorporated into early childhood coaching sessions and tr
 ainings across all early childhood coaching initiatives in Nebraska. Your 
 attendance is strongly encouraged.\n\nOpen to all Early Childhood Coaches 
 in Nebraska. Participants must have direct coaching experience prior to at
 tending a Coach Booster Training.\n\nRegistration for these sessions is FR
 EE. Space is limited to 25 attendees per training.
