  an overview of Youth Thrive:  \n\nThe overall goal of the research-inform
 ed Youth Thrive framework is to advance healthy development and well-being
 \, by building protective and promotive factors and to mitigate or prevent
  risk factors. \n\nThe five protective and promotive factors for healthy a
 dolescent development are: \n•	Youth resilience \n•	Social connections\n•	Kno
 wledge of adolescent development \n•	Concrete support in times of needs\n•	C
 ognitive-social emotional competence\n\nTogether\, reducing risk-factors a
 nd promoting protective and promotive factors\, are regarded as a pathway 
 for decreasing the likelihood of negative outcomes and increasing the like
 lihood of positive outcomes. \n\n<b>Theory of Change</b>\nYouth in general
 \, as well as those at heightened risk for negative outcomes\, have a grea
 ter likelihood of achieving healthy outcomes as a result of experiences th
 at support the building of the Youth Thrive protective and promotive facto
 rs and the reduction of risk factors.\n\n<b>Vision Statement</b>\nThe Yout
 h Thrive approach endeavors to ensure that the developmental needs of youn
 g people will be better attended to\, and that youth will receive the supp
 orts and experiences necessary to ensure enhanced opportunities for produc
 tive and secure lives.\n\nThe intended results of Youth Thrive are dynamic
  outcomes for healthy development and well-being of young people such that
  the young person is:\n\n•	Physically and emotionally healthy\n•	Hopeful\, o
 ptimistic\, compassionate and curious\n•	Able to form and sustain caring\, 
 committed relationships\n•	Successful in school and workplace\n•	Service-ori
