 Pinwheels?</b>\n\nFor several years\, Prevent Child Abuse America has used
  the pinwheel as the national symbol of child abuse awareness. In communit
 ies across the country\, Child Abuse Prevention Councils plant pinwheel ga
 rdens to bring awareness to the need for prevention efforts.\n\n“Pinwheels
  symbolize the safe\, happy childhood that every child deserves\,” said Ka
 thy Stokes\, Director of Prevent Child Abuse Nebraska. “But parenting can 
 be tough. Reaching out for help and education is a sign of strength. And w
 e want Nebraska’s families to know that positive parenting support is avai
 lable\, whether your kids are newborns through teens.”\n\n<b>At the picnic
 </b>\n\nNebraska First Lady Sally Ganem\, a long-time advocate for childre
 n\, will kick off the event by sharing her thoughts on the importance of p
 revention efforts and the role every Nebraskan can play.\n\nAfter the Firs
 t Lady’s speech\, family-friendly band the String Beans will perform. Kids
  can get airborne in the bounce house and play carnival games\, while all 
 guests enjoy snacks and free giveaways and educational materials on positi
 ve parenting.  Picnickers will plant a pinwheel garden at the event\, and 
 take their own pinwheel home as a souvenir.\n\n
