Rhonda grew up in North Platte, Nebraska where she and her husband, Jim, led a very successful newspaper business, Western Publishing Company. When they sold the business, Rhonda and Jim took advantage of the opportunity to concentrate on finding ways to help worthy causes. They moved to their east Lincoln home in
2000 from rural western Nebraska. In addition to holding leadership positions on dozens of nonprofit boards, Jim and Rhonda have chaired several major fundraising campaigns and raised millions of dollars for the University of Nebraska, NET, Great Plains Regional Medical Center and many other organizations. They both give their time, expertise and financial support generously, with a sincere desire to get things
done and make things better.
