Marta is a self-employed Human and Organizational Development Consultant,
specializing in creating joyful and productive work environments, cultural
competence, effective change and facilitating personal growth. She has worked for
Girl Scouts and Girls Inc. as well as in corporate settings with United HealthCare.
Marta is very involved in the community serving with Altrusa International and
Nebraska Business & Professional Women, Women’s Fund of Greater Omaha,
Latinas Unidas and more.
Marta earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology at Bellevue University and a
master’s degree in Social Work at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. She has
certification in Practitioner and Master Levels in Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP). She is married to Roland Nieves, an Air Force retiree.
A resident of Bellevue, Marta has served on the Foundation board since 2004.
