On behalf of the Southeast Nebraska Collaborative, we would build on the theme of appreciation for our partnerships internally and externally. The level of support for our outreach has been amazing. The landscape looks very different now than when it did 4 years ago when we started. We continue to grow, especially during this crisis. Our newest partner, the Cornhusker United Way has raised $10k to reach those most in need in Saline County as quickly as possible. This doubles our efforts in Saline now! We are so hopeful that we will come through more informed and better connected. 01:16:14 Jean Fischer: Same - I do need to leave; the partner agencies are so helpful in all of our counties across the state. We encourage you to join the next Food Chat May 20th: https://unl.zoom.us/meeting/register/tJMpc-GqqjIsG9MIk1TYDfVQKCr-h8PzGSXu https://foodsystems.unl.edu/nebraska-regional-food-systems-initiative Jean Ann Fischer Nebraska Extension and Snap-Ed; our Snap-Ed Educator Brenda Sale in Dakota Sale has also been working closely with the coalition to coordinate food distribution and bring in additional funding. 01:20:50 Carrie Rouillard: I'm sorry have to leave Thank yoiu 01:21:01 ekluver: Free Behavioral Telehealth Consultation Clinic The MMI Psychology Department at UNMC is offering free behavioral telehealth consultation. For Lancaster County I think that the things we have learned is how great cross sector collaboration has been...Lancaster County non-profits historically collaborate well but this pandemic has brought other sectors in to the collaborative fold. One item to highlight is the upcoming FREE COVID-19 testing that will be happening on May 15th targeted for those that have barriers. Translators will be on site, no insurance needed. 01:40:55 Rose Hood Buss: I will send flyer 01:42:43 Sandy Nation: Thanks Everyone! Have a great day 01:49:32 Jessica McGinley - Valentine: I am new to this, but we had a free COVID testing in out school parking lot yesterday. Max was 125 and we tested 87. We will know results in 5 days. Like someone was saying, when you ask people rarely say no and often do more. I think the connections are just important. Often people aren’t aware of the needs so that is what keeps them from helping. If the community is connected and knows Needs I think they can be met better. 01:55:49 Jacki Trujillo: In Fremont we tested Sunday a mass testing, had 300 slots and tested 287.. still awaiting results.. 01:57:20 Deborah Dancer: THank you! 01:57:26 Leonor Fuhrer: Thank you all!
