Kris Whisenhunt, Assistant Vice President, Youth Economic Success
Kris graduated from Nebraska Wesleyan University with a bachelor’s degree in Social Work after having spent three years studying Sociology and Minority Studies at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Kris manages Connected Youth Initiative (CYI) Lancaster County programming; is a project manager and technical assistance coordinator for CYI Youth Economic Success efforts; and is a co-lead of the Learn and Earn to Achieve Potential education and career pathways initiative.
Prior work includes being a research assistant and Youth Advisor for Nebraska Children; a systems analyst and lead for a textbook wholesale company; and restaurant management. Kris is originally from Ashland, Nebraska and currently lives with her husband in Lincoln.
