Katie Triplett, MSN, APRN-BC received her undergraduate and graduate degrees from Clarkson College in Omaha. She is a nurse practitioner and is the Senior Manager of Regulatory Standards and Risk Management for Methodist Hospital, Women's Hospital, and the hospital-based clinics. She is responsible for monitoring compliance with regulatory and accrediting authorities and for the development, implementation, and ongoing administration of Methodist's risk management program. Prior to moving into her current role, Katie was the Chest Pain Center Coordinator, leading Methodist to their first-ever Chest Pain Center accreditation in 2015 and directing the opening of a protocol-driven chest pain unit in 2014. She also was instrumental in guiding the hospital to recently achieve the American Heart Association’s highest system of care national recognition, the Mission: Lifeline Gold Award.
Katie is also actively involved in the community, volunteering her time and talents to organizations and causes that advance the holistic wellness of Omaha’s population through promoting art and culture, offering mentoring and growth opportunities, encouraging healthy lifestyles, and developing leadership potential of women and girls. She currently supports the Rose Theater, Friends of Nebraska Children, the Joslyn Art Museum, the Omaha Jaycees, Girl Scouts, and the Junior League of Omaha. In the last calendar year, she has committed more than 750 hours of volunteer time to ensuring Omaha is a great place for its residents.
In her free time, Katie enjoys reading, trying new restaurants, supporting local artists, traveling, and spending time with friends and family. She lives with her husband, Adam, son, Thomas, and dog, Bosworth, in Dundee.
