You can apply for funds through the Terwilliger Scholarship if you are planning on or currently going to school at a University of Nebraska campus. You must demonstrate academic success and have experience within Nebraska's foster care system that adds up to 12 months or more. If you have been legally adopted and have financial need, you are also eligible. All applications must be submitted by January 1 for the following academic year.
Being a responsible citizen doesn't mean sitting back and letting other people make decisions for you. It means getting involved in shaping the character of our families, our schools, our communities and our state.
