Nebraska Children seeks to find the unmet needs in the public and private sectors and to fill the gaps and connect these needs to resources. We actively develop partnerships throughout all of our work and we promote real collaboration as a way of doing business. In fact, our mission statement is “Bringing people together to achieve the best results for children and families.”

Nebraska Children has taken major steps toward realizing this mission over the past ten years; however much more work remains. The ambitious vision that led to the foundation's creation – of a statewide system of care that fulfills the promise of the Good Life to our state's children and families – remains unfulfilled. That vision, however, continues to drive and guide our work.
